There is background radiation and there is solar radiation. Of course solar radiation UV and IR have an effect on global temperature.

Solar radiation can have an effect. But the Sun has been pretty constant lately, and slightly decreasing. So it's not really a factor right now in the warming trend.

I'm sure it could, being from cosmic or terrestrial sources.

But wouldn't that ruin this co2 thing that the alarmists have conjured up.... that caused the warmth.

The earth hasn't warmed since 1998.

The amount of radioactive contamination released by human activity is rather small, in global terms, but the radiation background is also rather low. In fact, the total amount of radioactivity released by humans is negligible in comparison to natural background radiation.

We need ozonne to overcome solar radiation and can reduce the glass house effect which co^2 as a medium.

I believe even the most intelligent scientists are overlooking the other emissions of the Sun.
The Solar Winds, Large Flares, X Ray Flares and maybe most important = Interplanetary Magnetic Field have effects that people would not believe.
Right now the Sun is Blank - see here:

Why the effects may create warming:
